CREAL is a leader in environmental exposure assessment and epidemiology. The centre’s investigators are experienced in epidemiological studies of environmental factors and child health, including perinatal outcomes, asthma, neurodevelopment, and cancer.
All have long-standing experience in national and international multi-centre investigations on environment and health. This includes evaluating of environmental risks, training in epidemiological methods and publishing in high ranking journals.
CREAL also has extensive experience in national and international multi-centre investigations focused on birth cohorts and children, including in the coordination of recent FP7 funded projects: CHICOS, MeDALL, ENRIECO, PHENOTYPE and MOBIKIDS.
